Delhi's gully cricket scene is about to get its biggest shot at formal recognition yet. T20 Gully Cricket has opened registrations for its next round of Delhi trials, and this season brings a few real changes worth knowing about before you sign up.
What's New This Round
More trial windows, spread across more grounds. Instead of a single trial weekend, Delhi trials are now running across multiple dates through South Delhi, Dwarka, Rohini, and Noida-adjacent grounds — so a clashing exam, work shift, or travel plan doesn't have to mean missing your shot.
Team-first registration is now front and center. If you already play regularly with a settled colony, society, or college group, you can register the whole team in one go for Delhi's T20 Gully League fixtures — no need to break up a squad that already knows how to play together just to trial individually.
Every player leaves with a profile, not just a result. Whether or not you're picked for the Delhi city shortlist, you get a scouting note and a public player profile that team managers and league organizers across the city can see. Selection to the top team is one outcome — getting picked up for a league roster is another, and it happens often.
Who Should Register
Players aged 12–25 across U16, U19, and open-age categories
Anyone who plays serious tennis-ball or leather-ball cricket, club experience or not
Captains looking to get their existing team into organized league fixtures
Keepers, all-rounders, and bowling specialists — trials are assessed by role, not a one-size-fits-all tryout
Why This Matters for Delhi
Delhi has never lacked players. What it's lacked is a straightforward, no-cost way for a genuinely good colony or park cricketer to get in front of someone who's actually looking for talent. That's the specific gap this round of trials is built to close — not another academy fee structure or closed-door club network, but an open, city-wide trial system anyone can walk into.
How to Register
Registration takes under two minutes and can be done directly on WhatsApp or through the website. Once registered, exact ground addresses and your assigned trial date are sent straight to your phone as slots are confirmed.
